As of today, I have been imprisoned in dismal county jails for a year. Without being required to prove that I have broken any law, the government is punishing me as though I am guilty and with the same degree of severity as a convicted thief, murderer or career criminal. There is still no definite date for my trial. The uncertainty of my future is a deep, dark tunnel with no end in sight! Is this conduct befitting a nation of laws - of "the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

My heartfelt, and deep appreciation to all those who are supporting me in my struggle. Your kindness is helping to take some of the edge off of this long, harsh experience. Your support strengthens my confidence that the fires of liberty are being rekindled in the hearts of good people everywhere.

Some people are only observers of the dreadful storms of injustice, corruption and legal plunder that are devastating the lives of millions of people. But your growing desire to do what is right and good, and to defy the storm is urging you to take the bold steps necessary to stand up for liberty and make positive change a rarity - starting with yourself. In the process, you are creating a life of which you will be trull proud. Your example will encourage others to take a more active role in creating a kinder world.

To prevail, we do not have to be stronger than the storm. We just have to decide to find the strength within us to stand up again when the storm has beaten us down. Let us now rediscover and live more passionately for the ideals that give our life meaning and direction; that inspire us to make another determined step towards a brighter future for all.

Each day I make another resolute step towards freedom!
