Elaine and her husband, Ed, decided to keep the money they earned. The IRS didn't like that, and sent the govt after them, demanding a lot of back-taxes. Elaine and Ed asked to be shown the law that legalizes (or, in their mind, legitimizes) income tax, and were never shown it. The court even refused to let them ask anymore, so they refused to continue going to the govt's kangaroo court. They stayed in their home for 8 months, as the govt attacked and spied and wasted tons of money until they finally sent cops in to lie and capture the Browns, who are now in jail.
Elaine was sentenced on 9/25/09 to 35 years in a federal prison. Please write to her occasionally to let her know her stand against the government was not for nothing!
